Former Craig Dunain hospital from woodland trail

It was a clear blue sky day so I thought I should get out somewhere. So I went up the part of the Great Glen Way that goes through Dunain Community Woodland. I haven’t been up that way for a quite while and was astonished to see the extent of house building  just short of the woodland.  However once on the trail you don’t notice it. I saw no one on my way up but on my way down met some cyclists and an older runner who’d just run up a steep trail and was getting his breath back. I told him I used to run.  He replied ‘Well you’re still mobile,’ which was encouraging.
