Enjoyable afternoon at Ashton Gate

For my son, me, and 20,331 other people. It was fun to go to football with him, as we have so many times before.  Quite a long walk - pointless to drive - and the buses don’t work to get there from here.  Bristol city played brilliantly, but only in patches.  We were very lucky to win 1-0 against Hull in my opinion. 
In the evening we went out for a pizza in a cafe really close to home - with my nephew and his partner. It was lovely for me to eat with 3 lovely, funny, nice-looking young men. Two graduate trainees - one accountant, one solicitor, and my L has just finished his traineeship and become a fully fledged civil engineer. Then I went home and they went to the pub:)
