Cesar Manrique in Lanzarote

Today in Arrecife,Lanzarote : again a lovely sunny day . After breakfast we went ashore and walked along the harbour to the old fort , then back through town out to Castillo San José which is now MIAC, the museum of contemporary art. Well worth the walk, full of paintings and sculptures with Lanzarote celebrating its famous son Cesar Manrique whose home we visited last time we were here .. and many others.
Back to Iona for lunch, this time in the MDR Pearl which was very civilised! 17000 steps
