Sunday lunch

Back to Camara de Lobos on a perfect Madeiran day.

The buses were a bit chaotic. The number 01 veered off the usual road and headed off upwards, finally coming to rest at a bus stop quite a way from the usual one. No problem. She’d made a good decision. There are roadworks on the main coast road and it takes ages to get round them.

The rickety Rodoeste was the same on the way back - heaving and crammed…..

Of course, it had to be a return to the Vila do Peixe. This week the parrot fish was a manageable size and the view from the terrace was breathtaking.

Home tomorrow (winds, sand and Jet2 permitting.)

I’m so going to miss this place.
