Words of Wisdom!

On the buses today for a grand total of £4 to ride on three different buses. The adventure began in Halifax before taking the scenic bus route to Rochdale up over the hills above Ripponden to The White House and down into Littleborough before reaching Rochdale itself.

After a stop and look around it was on bus number two to Eastwood. The fare machine wasn't working so the driver said to enjoy a freebie! Once in Eastwood, it was time for a canal walk to Hebden Bridge. Bbbrrr it was chilly and wet at times, but flashes of blue sky did appear occasionally!!

In Hebden Bridge there was time for a browse before the final bus of the day back into Halifax. A stroll through a pretty deserted town centre which really did make for quite an eerie atmosphere and then time to head back home.
