This Sluice House is located in Amsterdam. The Building is located on the IJ, near IJburg.
The IJ is a river, formerly an estuary, in North Holland. The actual IJ or Binnen-IJ separates the Amsterdam city center from Amsterdam-Noord, and was originally an offshoot of the Zuiderzee.

The top 2 photos are the front and back view and the bottom 2 photos from the collage are the side view.
You can see how the apartments slope upwards. If you stand there and look up, it is unreal to imagine what the house would look like inside. By this I mean the walls.
