Caterpillar Chains

Today I visited the Jeff Koons exhibition at Brighton Museum.

I liked this. It looks like a child's inflatable for playing with in the pool but it's actually polychromed aluminium and rubber coated steel.

Comes from a series of sculptures and paintings focusing on childhood and play, and the unsettling relationship between childhood and sexuality. Well, that' what the blurb said. I just see a big floaty caterpillar sticking it's tongue out at the world:)
