Dych chi ddim yn gwybod lle tan ddych chi wedi'i gerdded, felly rydw i'n hoffi cerdded o gwmpas lleoedd newydd. Mae'n teimlo'n barchus i ddod i adnabod lle ychydig o leiaf.

Es i am daith cerdded hir trwy'r pentref. Mae siop bwyd iechyd gyda Drefach Felindre ac un archfarchnad fach. Mae'n ddigon dim ond  i ffeindio'r pethau hanfodol. Mae'n well na llawer o bentrefi arall gyda dim siopau o gwbl. Mae Drefach Felindre yn gymuned briodol yma gydag eglwysi, ysgolion, tafarnau ayyb.

Yn y prynhawn hwyr aethon ni i Drala Jong ar gyfer dechrau'r encil. Roedd e'n neis iawn i weld ein ffrindiau eto. Byddan ni'n cymudo bob dydd. Yn ffodus rydyn ni'n eithaf agos - dim ond 10km. Pymtheg munud mewn car (ond dwy awr ar droed).

You don't know a place until you've walked it, so I like walking around new places. It feels respectful to get to know a place at least a little.

I went for a long walk through the village. There is a health food shop with Drefach Felindre and one small supermarket. It is enough just to find the essentials. It is better than many other villages with no shops at all. Drefach Felindre is a proper community here with churches, schools, pubs etc.

In the late afternoon we went to Drala Jong for the start of the retreat. It was very nice to see our friends again. We will commute every day. Fortunately we are quite close - only 10km. Fifteen minutes by car (but two hours on foot).
