Tea, Cake, Music and Plants

The annual plant sale and garden party in aid of Water Aid today, and the weather simply couldn't be more perfect. It has not proved easy for those donating plants, since everything's so late this year. The cake was better than ever, though! I was hoping to pick up a fennel plant, but there weren't any, but there was a fine rosemary, which our garden lamentably lacks at the moment. Place a few sprigs under halved unpeeled potatoes, brush with oil, roast for half an hour - simple, perfect!
