Inspired by a Pattinson home.

The name of Pattinson is synonymous with Lake District Arts and Crafts houses. However, the building firm, based in Windermere since 1850, has also been responsible for building a large number of modest homes to be let to local people.
This one is typical of several small groups of houses built in and around Windermere right through until the 1970’s.
I find the style empathetic with the environment and it wouldn’t look out of place on a chocolate box.
