Sheltering Cormorant
A cormorant sheltering from the very cold wind at Villeneuve this afternoon. I’ve never seen one so close to the road before but, although it wasn’t as windy as yesterday, it was very cold. His colours looked stunning in the afternoon sun.
I wasn’t able to take many photos at the hide as I hadn’t taken gloves. Many of the ducks had gone to where the boats are moored to take shelter but I did see a few Shovelers, see extra, as well as other species that had found sheltered spots.
