The end of a tree.

Logs of trees which have had to be felled in Sutton Park NNR are left in place. I hope this one will be left where it is too,
It looks like it was a really mighty tree.
I took the photo when on a walk this morning,
This afternoon I was absorbed in doing a line drawing from a photo,
Time just disappears!
When I stopped it was past 5:00pm.
