stinking hellebore

I blip this beautiful wild flower every year. It’s a shame about its unfortunate name. It flowers for weeks, this is the first one just opening. The red edges look so pretty next to the bright green. It grows in a shady spot and is quite big. It rained today so I’ve sorted out my stash of material and got another couple of sewing projects sorted out ready to make.
