The Stick that Moved

We nearly stepped on him on our way out.

It was misty and cool during the morning drive. Yesterday we booked a guided game drive for 17:00. At 16:00 it was pouring down, but the woman at reception told us to be back at 16:45 for the drive. At 16:40 the rain stopped, the clouds cleared and the sun shone. We didn't see many animals during our drive, but it was informative and fun.

The extra shows the veld after the rain and shows how green the karoo can get when good rains falls.
