Buddy

A day mostly spent in front of the computer and playing catch-up. Took myself over to Denny in the afternoon to pop into the shops and have a wander around Rosebank Community Woodland.

The birds were singing great-style, but not much else to suggest that spring was on its way - the woodland floor and trees still looked pretty barren. A closer inspection, though, revealed some telltale signs. These buds, according to my plant ID app, are on an oak tree.

Hopefully longer days and warmer weather will move things along a bit. It was a bitter one today.
