Domestic violence

I was feeling sick the entire day following last night. My sister called me at 4:30 today crying with my father abusing my mother calling things like hindi equivalent of f*cking c*nt and sl*t. My mum sat on the bathroom floor as she was hit repeatedly. After hearing the abuse for 30 mins my sister decided to intervene and come to the ground floor.

He didn’t stop and remained abusive. My sister opened the front door in hope that the neighbours would listen in. But none came and he had the audacity to call say ‘she is mad’. This went on for past 2 hours and it is still on.

I was calm on the phone and didn’t scream back which I do typically. I promised my sister that I will be back soon.
