Aurora

My parents caught in the UK and I impatiently waited for dark with such good data. I judged 7pm would be dark enough with a spike in the readings. We were spot on it was beautiful. You could see the red with the naked eye and the spikes and movement. It came and went very fast. We headed in to warm up it was - 10c outside. It was due to peak again later so I stayed up until about 10pm when I noticed we were clouded out so decided just to go to bed. At 5.30am this morning when the alarm went off I looked out and it wad still active just minty waves of movement deep into the sky. Beautiful! Video from gopro night lapse here!
