The Sands of Time

An excellent lecture at the Royal Geographical Society this evening. An expert and enthusiast on the subject of clocks delivered a talk about the History of civilisation in twelve clocks. 

This one was depicting the power of the hour glass and it's association with death. Scary.

A good bike ride this morning to docklands.
