Beach memories

I have several sand dollars in my jumbled shell collection. I'm not sure if this was found out here or when I lived in California. It's always exciting to find one on the beach. I took a couple pictures and then realized how very dusty it was. So after rubbing that dust off this picture turned out much better. I love all of its tiny ridges.
First day back after a week off is always exhausting. Everyone seemed to be very excitable. And that's a bit of an understatement.
