A very Common Duck

The male Mallard is an easily recognized duck; the color of his head shines bright in the sunlight. Mallards are here year-round and they are usually unafraid of humans; they willingly come to children wanting to feed them bird seeds. 

Ellie came over after school; she played by herself for a while because I wanted to do something else. Eventually, she says, "GG, I want you to play with me and if you don't, I am going to call Grandpa to come to get me and I am never coming back. You will be very sad without me so you better come play with me." I kind of ignored her and she decided I could finish what I was doing before playing with her...problem solved. :-)))
