Damselfly
This morning was cloudy and still and all in the garden was quiet. The usual bug world seemed to be sleeping so I waited and searched. Then what should appear but this beautiful damselfly. I think it's a blue banded, as that's what we seem to have most of around here.
Thank you for your warm and sympathetic responses to my swan story yesterday. While I'm happy to report that this afternoon the two adults were swimming together up in the park, sadly there was no cygnet. Once cygnets reach a critical mass they have a good chance of surviving but the little ones are vulnerable.
Thanks for doing such a great job of hosting tiny Tuesday in February, Debbi.
