The time feels right ...

It has not been an easy decision, what to do with a wardrobe full of shirts of every ‘check’ imaginable.
Unlike a lot of men, my husband never had any problems buying his own clothes. If he liked something he’d buy it in all the colours available.
I’ve already donated some sweaters to a homeless centre and some to our local hospice charity shop but I’m not ready to let go of everything. So here I have the beginnings of a memory quilt which I will probably use as a throw on the settee.
I’m also thinking of making some tiny patchwork blocks and framing them for my sewing room. I’ll see how I get on ...
