Volunteers

The Arnside/Silverdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty Tuesday Volunteers were out in force in the village woodlands this morning.

I did a one and a half hour walk round the village this morning. About an hour was walking and the other half hour was stopping talking to people. Good physical and mental excercise.

The fifteen or so volunteers out this morning are just one of the groups you can join. There are the National Trust volunteers and the Landscape Trust volunteers, the RSPB volunteers and the Butterfly Conservation volunteers. We certainly work hard to look after our special patch.
