Wild plum blossom
My entry for today's TinyTuesday.
There is a tree covered in this blossom (not all of it out) at the bottom of the Green Having missed the glorious start to the day, I trotted down at the end of the morning for this shot. I've been itching to blip it and the mixture of lunchtime sun, blue sky and grey I thought just perfect as a backdrop for the last day of February.
Each blossom is approx 1.5 cms across. Very like blackthorn blossom but slightly earlier and without the sharp spikes. Many thanks to dbifulco for hosting today's challenge.
This afternoon I visited a friend struck down by a torn ligament, taking a pack of chocolate digestive biscuits. Always good medicine ;)) We talked the afternoon away.
The other thing today brought has been a continuation for backing up my blip files. It's been pointed out to me - quite rightly - that I should have these stored in/on a cloud somewhere, so maybe I should look at that too.
Have a happy evening and tomorrow xx
