pretty maids all in a row

James, one of our former trainees, came into the cafe today for lunch and showed me the photos he had taken of the pretty primulas in the planters outside The Usual Place. I said I might take a photo myself and use it for my blip, but after work I forgot all about it and rushed off to the shops and DG1.

So here is the photo I took when I got home (still light at after 5pm!). The flowers were ones I rescued from the bin at Irongray Church (not taken off a grave!) as I thought it was a shame to throw them away when they could be brightening up the garden...
