We have a house!!!

Just after 3pm, we had confirmation that we had closure on the purchase.

In the end, after making a fuss about the date, it seems unlikely we'll actually visit our house until Saturday, which was the first day we could book our "man with a van".  The beds we've had on order for ages can also not be delivered before Saturday.  And our stuff from storage is hopefully arriving next week.

So, as I said to our solicitor, it's a long way to drive to just say "Hello house; goodbye house; see you on Saturday!"

Once that was sorted, I decided I needed fresh air.  Walked down to the supermarket for a few supplies via the river.
