Pintail

I went out to Freiston shore RSPB reserve to day with the U3A birding group. It was cold, dreary, grey, cold, rainy weather!  But we are a hardy bunch and maybe a little mad!! I think the pintail is a very elegant duck. There was not a lot to see as the weather was so poor but there were curlew, widgeon, Teal, oyster catchers, redshank, Brent geese egrets to name just a few.
