Pedal on Parliament

I wanted to add a blip on the Kiltwalk that I took earlier in the day at Portobello, where I asked two women Marshalls (in kilts) to pose for me, but it was on my phone and the spec is not enough for this site :-( So my next opportunity was the Pedal on Parliament. As I was walking down Abbeyhill I noticed a huge amount of cyclists (going past kilt walkers) and went down to explore further. I should have remembered about this event as I have seen it advertised on the cycle paths. There was a brightly coloured, mainly fluorescent, clothed people on all manner of bikes hanging about on the grass outside Parliament to call for Scotland to be a safer place to cycle. Here. here
