Left path completed

With the help of (many) amazing friends, the left path has now been mulched with a fresh layer of woodchips. 

It took a couple of weeks and at least 50 barrowloads... I'm really pleased the work's complete before the spring inspections in a few weeks. 

My neighbours' couch grass was spreading to the middle of the path around the front of the plot so I put a layer of cardboard down before the bark mulch to try and stop it getting to my plot. These things are so hard on allotments!
