A grade 11 listed building in Penrith.

I was born in this house and lived here till I was five.

My dad worked for the family who owned the farm and the vets Mr and Mrs Barr ,I have so many memories of going to the farm and playing in the grounds I also remember when my brother and I were fed up we would get in the car and honk the horn loads of times and my dad would be coming running like Mr McGregor shouting at us ha ha .

I remember the house big rooms and massive attic rooms when I walked past yesterday it doesn’t look that big. I also remember learning to ride my bicycle in the lane where I took the photo. Happy Days !!

I would love to look inside now that’s the door that went up to our flat , looks like offices now it’s still a vets.
