Deer...

After yesterdays encounter with cattle today it was deer. Driving to Castle Camps I spotted a herd of fallow deer crossing a field next to the road. I got ahead of them and just managed to get a shot or two as they ran passed.

We're told that the deer population is the highest it's ever been and sadly they often come to grief on the roads. I guess there are far too many of them about but doing something about them would be difficult and no doubt cause a public outcry.
