Sid the brave

Today I took Sid to the vets. He has become reluctant to go for walks and was licking himself excessively. So off we went. To get to see the vet we had to negotiate the car park, people, cars and walk through the shop first. I was worried he would be very scared but he did so well. We saw the same vet ( but at a different surgery) who did his operation a few months ago. She was very good with him and he had fluid removed from his anal glands and has been given a week’s worth of painkillers. We went for just a short walk this evening and now both dogs are snoozing on the sofa.
