Croquet

The genteel and fiendish game... being played at Phyllis Court club in Henley-on-Thames. Whites are de rigeur. The kindly looking gent has just sent the black ball on a 10 m skitter away from the hoop and out of the frame...
Aunt A and I walked through on our way to a restaurant- a pleasant tapas restaurant in the main street.

Bit of a palaver this morning as the builder wanted his carpenter to finish a job as his wife is expecting for any day. They arrived at about the same time as the man from HOG assistance to start my motorbike. Didn't take long and I am embarrased to have called them out when with a pair of jump leads I could have started the bike myself in 10 minutes!

Happily the motorway was clear and I arrived with aunt A on time, having had a palpitation mid journey when I realised my tax disc was still on the kitchen board...
