That’s Magic

Every now & then I like to text into radio stations. I love that 10 seconds of fame when they read my text & mention my name. It’s not quite performing in the Live Lounge but it keeps me happy.

Well today I responded to a request on Magic for stories when you have slacked off work in the past. I sent my text & left it at that, wondering if they would read it out or if they did, would I still be home.

Few minutes later I got a call from Magic asking if I would like to share my story on the radio with Harriet Scott & Ronan Keating. Of course I jumped at the chance.

So I duly chatted to them both & shared my story. At the end of the tale they told me I’d won a holiday courtesy of their sponsors. Definitely wasn’t expecting that.

Not a bad way to start the day.
