A had had a bad day at work, so we went to eat at the Craigiebield Hotel, up the road, giving her the chance to vent her frustrations, and eat something tasty. The Craigiebield is where James Cossar Ewart lived, doing his breeding experiments with horses and zebras at what is now the nearby Navaar Hotel. Hence this fetching picture greets you when you walk into the Craigie'!

Earlier, I'd gone in late after walking Django, but still had a productive session working on code and documentation. I also spent an hour working through some of my material with a student who is finding it hard to grasp.
