DOUBLE AT T'MILL

A 14th-century frieze I love at the site museum at Rievaulx Abbey showing two men arriving at a windmill with their mules laden with grain, presumably. It's a lovely glimpse of everyday life.

We went to Helmsley and then Rievaulx for the day and got rained on most of the time, although the sun came out while we were driving between places and just as we were leaving. It's always worth it though, despite the weather.
