Geese us a shot, will ya?

Jeez, was it nippy at lunchtime or what? There surely was a bite in that easterly wind.
It's been three or four days in a row of that atypical breeze, so it just a bit too choppy for comfort at the Forty Foot. 
Instead I went to that little spot between it and Sandycove. 
There was no lingering today, 3 or 4 minutes of floating around with the Canada Geese, a quick dry, clothes back on (including gloves to cycle) and back home for the second half of the WFH day. 
A swim is still the best possible interlude in a day when contract negotiations seem like they'll never end (or end on a semi-satisfactory note at least).
