Morning Visitors

Yet another relaxed day, but getting things done as well. These three were mucking about in our room before Tom started work.

Then, in the evening, went to get the bus to go into town for a meal at The Alan (another review by Jay Rayner), but foiled by a student demonstration against high rents (extra) - got there in the end in the second Uber we ordered; the first one slowed down for us and then sailed off, weird...

Gratefuls:
- cuddling Eden in bed this morning when Julia went back to bed
- a rainy walk in Platt Fields Park with her, some stunning whitethorn like shining clouds alongside the path
- the Czech waiter giving us coffees on the house after a fun meal, trying all sorts of new foods

Must admit, I forgot about Joe Tree day - there's a tree in the extra, and I am very grateful to him for having the idea for this brilliant site.
