Sunbeams and rain over the Coniston Fells

Thank you for all your lovely comments on yesterdays Blip of Rain over Skiddaw

Went to Grasmere today and we walked over Tarn Crag, up to Sergeant Man and back vis Blea Rigg. Marked on the route we followed as an 8 mile walk, we measured it as 10.45 miles.

The photo was taken as we came off Sergeant Man on route to Blea Rigg; we had those few moments of transient light behind Pike of Stickle. The dark fells on the left are Lingmoor Fell and Side Pike.

Some fabulous light on a tiring walk.
