Playing rather than watching

After spending the last few days looking at some of the best golf courses in the UK it was great to actually get out there and play some golf for the first time this year.

Unfortunately it was Beckenham rather than St Andrews but it was still really nice to hit some balls with friends, in the bad golfers group that we started a few years ago.

I was pretty rusty to start with but actually hit some decent shots and had an ok round. Am definitely going to try and fit in playing more so that I can improve.
