Trametes versicolor, a mushroom also called Turkey Tail, is one of the most common mushrooms in Arkansas. You can see where it gets it's nickname. It's shape and multiple colors are similar to those of a wild turkey. There is a tree stump nearby that has them growing all over the top and inside it's hollowed out center. I didn't spent too much time taking pictures because it smelled a little skunky. The tree strump would be a great home for a small creature, just hopefully not a skunk!
We got through one night of storms without a tornado or large hail. There'll be another round tomorrow night. Daytime temperatures in the 70's to near 80 is just not normal.
