Downside Nurseries

We went over towards Bath to explore Brown's Folly Nature Reserve, on the outskirts of Bath. The site is an SSSI, as 13 species of Britain's 18 bats roost there. The folly is visible from the main road between Frome and Bath. As a child, I always knew it as "The Pepperpot" but I don't know how widely that name is (or was) used.

On the way back, we went to Downside Nurseries, a really wonderful garden centre. It was our first visit there but won't be our last! I bought a new bay and also an Indian Mint for my little mint collection (which will get blipped in due course!)
