Patiently......!!!

Or more likely ‘impatiently’ waiting to go out on the morning walk/sniff with her ‘Father’.....!!!!
She has him very well ‘trained’ now and has made a habit of ‘pestering’ him when he takes his morning tea break from work...!!
She’s very funny....watching him expectingly, woofing low down in her throat and wagging the tail as high as it can go..!!
I tell her she must have ‘manners’ and wait on the front door mat until he’s ready...she totally ignores me...!!
She absolutely loves these brief short walks now ....and I may well have said about Mel before that as a rescue dog she has serious issues around noise or sudden movements.
So, it’s amazing that she enjoys going out now...she’s also become so obedient that he allows her off the lead to have a good smell around. They only walk our two local cul-de-sacs..and she plays tentatively with our neighbors dog...he frightens her a bit as he’s only a year+ old puppy so she doesn’t quite know what to do with him...!
It’s quite an achievement as she’s 9 years old now..
I’m still a little nervous out with her and always keep her on her lead...!
