Hopton Beach.

Had my eldest daughter and her boyfriend round today for a Sunday roast as she was down from Uni celebrating her 21st.

We had a lovely day and considering Karen has 4 shifts today we still managed a walk up the river to show her boyfriend the beauty of the area we live in.

He is from North London and the contrast must seem like two different worlds, he certainly couldn't believe the tranquility of the place mind you he hasn't heard the farm animals kicking off first thing in the morning and last thing at night, the wood pigeons sat on the roof then the owls hooting their night call. But admittedly they are the noises I would rather contend with.

The blip is my usual beach walk looking from Hopton beach to Gorleston.

Oh and my verdict on my eldest's boyfriend, considering its only the second time Ive met him the first was a quick hello whilst collecting her from Uni, I decided I was we'll impressed with him!

My cooking went down well too! He can come again.
