61/365 Scenery

Taken through the carriage window on our train journey today. A lot of wonderful views as we headed towards Arthur’s Pass en route to Greymouth.

However, we had to leave the train and continue the journey by coach when we reached the station at Arthur’s Pass due to a derailment further up the track.

The coach was basic to say the least and we had to stack the suitcases on the back seats. Not a very comfortable journey!

We picked a car up in Greymouth and drove down to Franz Josef where we’re staying for a couple of days.
