Spring-winter continues...

After yesterday's blip announcing that spring-winter has arrived in mid-Sweden I continue on the same theme.
Glorious sunshine continues today, though incredible winds provide a strong chill factor. I was nearly blown over as I took this picture, fortunately backwards, away from the ice. The harbour is still well frozen with fairly thick ice even between those angular ice floes. However, in the inland sky there are cumulus clouds, showing the sun is warming the earth in a way it never can in from November to mid-February. Spring is struggling to overcome winter!
Jan has just checked the forecast and the temperature is sinking to -19°C at night next week, so winter is not giving up the fight easily!
