A Night Out

A full day at the New Wine Leadership Conference today, and some of them went back for more seminars in the evening, after tea.

We had an evening meal together at Pizza Express. This is our group from Greystoke and in the background are part of the party of another 42 Cumbrians.

Today I took time to look around the displays of resources and occupied myself by looking for activities to do with children of all ages. We have nothing special organised for youngsters in our church other than crayons and books, and we do have young families joining our worship.

So, I had a great day with very loud music, a bit like a Queen concert, and singing with 1,800 people. Certainly louder than a Cliff Richard or a Kinks concert and that's the limit of my gig experience. Nice to be with such a lot of happy people.
