Pussy Willow

It's been a gloriously sunny day. We went for a walk across the South  Winchester golf course (on the public footpath!) and towards Pitt, and saw lots of lively birds, probably pairing up and looking for nesting sites. Also, a few blackthorn flowers in the hedgerow and these lovely catkins on a Pussy or Goat  Willow .(Salix caprea).
