2023 Wednesday — Leaving

We are almost 2 weeks beyond our due date to go to SoCal. Our current construction was supposed to require 2 weeks. We are now beyond a month. So when we learned that we were being stood-up again by the construction company, we simply said, “We’ll see you in a few weeks.”

They say they really want to get finished (because, of course, they want their final payment), but they continually pull their workers to other sites that “really need attention.”

The drive today was beautiful with continual sights of snow covered mountains and lots of beautiful green on the lower levels.

My photo collage (clockwise) is the dash of our car with the time we are exiting (but the clock on the dash is 6 minutes fast because Mr. Fun thinks that will help us arrive on time), Then a quick capture of Morro Rock in the beauty of the morning and once we are in the heart of Los Angeles is the abc building, and finally the view of our driveway and house.
