Up the Toon

Friday is my day off. Been and met a friend for a catch up, first since before lockdown and my goodness did we have a lot of catching up!
Followed this with follow up eye test after my second cataract. Great success, new reading glasses needed due to change in prescription, the cost of test and new glasses £29 as the test is free in Scotland.
Heading back to the car I went past the Globe, a hostelry that has entertained both myself and Robert Burns in the past ;) Was a great hang out but is now gentrified, not my kinda place anymore.
